At its 82nd session, held on 14 May 2009, the Government of the Republic of Croatia embraced the sponsorship over the project “Awards for Corporative Philanthropy” carried out by the association “Donacije.info”. This award is being granted for a third year in a row as an acknowledgement to the most successful corporate donors, aiming to promote and encourage the development of corporate philanthropy and accountability in the society. Momentarily, the public call is open to all enterprises playing a distinctive role in giving support and participating in the development of community in the year 2008. Such enterprises may compete for the awards in the two categories:
- best individual corporate donation in the year 2008
- best program of granting corporate donations in the year 2008.
Enterprises may apply on their own or could be nominated by civil society organizations – recipients of their donations. Applications should be submitted no later than 26 May 2009, while all the details and the necessary documentation could be found on the website of the association “Donacije.info”.
