Representatives and associates of the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society of the Government of Serbia visited the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs (GOfCNGOs) on 29th January 2014. The aim of the visit was to exchange experiences with the key institutions and organizations and to learn about Croatian practice examples of involving civil society in the decision-making process. During one-day visit, employees of the GOfCNGOs talked about the development and the model of support for development of civil society, and visitors were acquainted with the progress and challenges in the implementation and monitoring of the National Strategy for the Creation of an Enabling Environment for Civil Society from 2012 to 2016, about the role of the Council for Civil Society Development, and involving civil society in the EU accession process. Participants were also introduced with process of collecting data and producing of annual Report on Financing CSO Projects and Programmes from Public Sources, and the communication tools used in order to inform the general public about the activities of the Office.
