10th Session of the Council for Civil Society Development held in Zagreb

On Wednesday,  5th of October 2011, the 10th Session of the Council for Civil Society Development was held. The agenda of the Council included topics related to progress in establishing the impact assessment regulation system in Croatia, the implementation of technical assistance to civil society organization project in Croatia (TACSO) for the period 2011 to 2013, and the status of development of the new National Strategy for Civil Society Development (for the period from 2012 to 2016).

With regard to establishing the impact assessment regulation system in the Republic of Croatia, the representatives of the Legislative Office presented the implementation of IPA twinning project „Regulatory Impact Assessment“, which has commenced in January 2011.

The Head of the TACSO Office in the Republic of Croatia, Ms. Aida Bagić, also participated at the Session. Ms. Bagić introduced the participants with the implementation plan of the technical assistance to civil society organizations project for the next two year period, noting that in all countries where the TACSO project is being implemented, more emphasis will be put on supporting the impact of CSOs in public policies.
