The Project „Strengthening the capacities of the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs for Building Effective Partnership with Civil Society Organizations in the Fight against Corruption“ has been Launched

 

Office for Cooperation with NGOs has started to implement the project contracted in the framework of programme IPA 2009, titled „Strengthening the capacities of the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs for Building Effective Partnership with Civil Society Organizations in the Fight against Corruption„.
 
In the framework of the implementation of the measures of the fight against corruption, the Office for Cooperation with NGOs has a coordinative role in promotion of new standards for consultation with the interested public upon drafting of new laws and other legal acts, in accordance with the „Code of Good Practice for Conducting Consultations with the Interested Public in Procedures of Adopting and Implementing Laws, Other Regulations and Administrative Acts” (National Gazette 140/09), which is at the same time also a part of the National Strategy for Fight Against Corruption and the pertaining Action Plan.
 
Therefore, the main objective of the project is to stimulate and strengthen cooperation between the state administrative bodies, and the civil society organizations and the interested public in developing, implementation and monitoring of the measures in the field of anticorruption, with the emphasis on raising capacities of civil servants for a quality implementation of the consultative procedures. The project aims also at strengthening the capacities of the Office for Cooperation with NGOs for an effective implementation of the measures of the above-mentioned National Strategy and the Action Plan.
