Presentation of the Projects Contracted in the Framework of the Programme IPA 2008 "Strengthening of Capacities of the Civil Society Organizations for Monitoring of the Implementation of the Acquis“
On 13 June 2011, the Office for Cooperation with NGOs in cooperation with the Central Financing and Contracting Agency organized a public presentation of the projects contracted in the framework of the programme IPA 2008 in the fields of fight against corruption, strengthening of transparency and accountability of the public administration, fight against discrimination as well as the sustainable development and the environmental protection.
More than 80 participants took part in the event, including the representatives of the Delegation of the EU in the Republic of Croatia, state administrative bodies and institutions (Croatian Parliament and relevant ministries), academic community, civil society organizations and media and representatives of the project beneficiaries. The opening speeches were held by the Head of the Office for Cooperation with NGOs, Mr. Igor Vidačak, Director of the Central Financing and Contracting Agency, Ms. Marija Tufekčić, representative of the Delegation of the EU in the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Paolo Berizzi and the State Secretary in the Central State Office for Development Strategy and Coordination of the EU Funds, Mr. Hrvoje Dolenec.
After that, the interactive moderated discussion was held with the representatives of all 16 project beneficiaries, whose projects are worth more than 3 million EUR.
